Have you or anyone you know ever fancied dressmaking?

We run classes on the last Saturday of the month with a dressmaking teacher. In the class you will learn a different skill every time such as how to put a dart in, reading a pattern and knowing which fabrics are best to work with.

Our next class is on Saturday 25th March, 10:15am-12:45pm. In this session you will learn how to insert a zip into a garment. After you have learned this skill you will be able to get on with your own project with help and guidance from the teacher when needed.

This class is great for beginners as the teacher will help you to make a simple garment first such as pyjamas or a skirt to show you the basics. He class is also ideal for people who have been dressmaking for a while and would just like a few pointers with their project.

The class is only £10.

Scan'N'Cut Days

Our UK exclusives of the Brother Scan'N'Cut were a huge success on Thursday & Friday! John Bloodworth introduced the Scan'N'Cut and Melanie Haigh showed everyone how to get the most of Scan'N'Cut.

Everyone who came said they thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot about theScan'N'Cut and how to use it along with their embroidery machines.

We also raised a lot of money for Mind Charity as part of John Bloodworths 'All Counties Craft Challenge'.

We are very proud to be the first place in the UK to hold a Masterclass for the new Scan'N'Cut.

We have a busy week coming up next week!

Brother Scan'N'Cut event


Next Thursday and Friday, 23rd & 24th February we have Brother Scan'N'Cut events. We have a UK exclusive of the new Scan'N'Cut. John Bloodowrth will be here to introduce the Scan'N'Cut as part of his 'all counties challenge' in aid of  Mind Charity. Melanie from Brother will also be here to show you how to make the most of the Scan'N'Cut. Kim Suleman will also be demonstrating different Brother Sewing machines.

10;15am - 3pm

The cost of the day is £30 .

This event will be great for people who have a Scan'N'Cut and need help with how to use it or for people who are considering getting a Scan'N'Cut.

Charming Table Runner

Next Saturday, 25th February we have a 'Charming Table a Runner' class. In the class you will learn how to make the top of o table runner using only one charm pack.
The class is £17 and includes a pettern.
