New classes

We have some new classes that you are now able to book in to.

Saturday 27th May

Dressmaking
10:15am-12:45pm.

We have a new Dressmaking teacher, Wendy, who has over 30 years experience. In each session you will learn a Dressmaking skill such as how to insert a zip, deciding which fabric is best for the garment, and altering garments to fit your size. After this you will get time to work on your own project with Wendy's help. All of this for only £10!

Friday 2nd June

Patchwork & Quilting Techniques
10:15am-2:30pm

On the first Friday of the month we run patchwork & quilting techniques classes. In each session you will learn a different technique that your sewing machine can do and will then use that technique to make a project. This class us £17.

Friday 23rd June

Get to know your Sewing Machine
10:15am-12:30pm.

We run 'get to know your sewing machine' classes on the last Friday of the month. In each session you will learn something new, something you might not have known your sewing machine was able to do. This class is £17.

Smocking with the Sewing Machine
1:15pm-3:15pm

In this class you will learn the skill of 'smocking' using a machine. The class is £15 and includes an info sheet.

Saturday 15th July

Overlocker Beginners
10:15am-12:30pm

If you have an Overlocker but haven't had it out of the box or are confused with how to get started this class will be perfect for you. The class will cover threading, cleaning and some of the useful functions of the Overlocker. This class us £10.

Overlocker Bag
1:15pm-3:15pm

Use the useful functions of the Overlocker to make a bag. £10.
