What's happening this week at The Fat Quarters
Hello!
We're nearly at the end of September and the weather is beginning to change and the nights are drawing in. We've had a lot of people in this week thinking about their Christmas projects. You get a FREE Six Penny Memories pattern when you buy 2 metres of fabric. Our sale is still on for 30% OFF fabric, FatPacks and fabric panels. We have some new Christmas panels that are selling fast. We also have the Up Up and Away panels that Six Penny Memories had on TV now in stock. We are waiting for a delivery from Makower that will be full of plains, creams and whites. We will let you know as soon as they come in. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and website for when they come in.
Kim is on TV this Sunday on Hochanda with Six Penny Memories at 8am and 11am. She has lots of new products including beautiful fabrics! Have a look on Hochanda website for a sneak peak. Don't miss out!
We had a delivery of new Moda Bakery this week. 101 Maple Street. Beautiful autumn creams, browns, blues and oranges. We have Charm Packs £12.50, Jelly Rolls £33.99 and Layer Cakes £33.99. Visit our Facebook page for photos.
It's the last day of our Macmillan Coffee Morning this morning, we've had a very successful week. Pop in today for a cup of tea or coffee and some cake. We also have a raffle and games. Our raffle is £1 per strip.

Autumn is just around the corner

I hope you all have a lovely weekend planned. Autumn is just around the corner so quilts will soon be needed to keep warm. We have some beautiful autumnal colours available. Don't forget we still have 30% OFF fabrics, FatPacks and fabric panels.
I've just been setting up for our Macmillan coffee mornings next week. We are having them on Tuesday. Wednesday morning and Friday. We hope to raise a lot of money for Macmillan. We have demos, raffles and of course cake!! Pop in and say hi.
Did anyone watch Kim on Hochanda last week with Six Penny Memories? If you missed the up up and away elephant panel you will be pleased to hear that we have just had a delivery of them to the shop. We don't have many, if you are interested you can pop in or call us on 01207 565728. They will be available on our website soon.

Well I cannot quite believe that the school summer holidays are over for another year!
This week we have been making plans for our Macmillan Event and thinking about our Autumn window displays.
It has also been a week of finishing quilt tops and handing them over to Allison who works her magic on our Gammil Longarm quilting machine.
We do offer a quilting service and for more details and prices just give us a call.
In store we have the an X-Demo Brother M280D Sewing and Embroidery Machine for sale at £699. This is a £200 saving, the machine has a 3 year warranty and full support from us.
New in store are the Prym Pom Pom and Tassel Makers. These are great fun and a perfect way to add an embellishment to your projects.
Check out the Prym Love Vario Pliers and Snaps. Suitable for plastic or metal snaps, you will soon be using them in bags, duvets and Dressmaking projects.

We have an Overlocker class this Saturday 8th September, 10:15am-12:30pm.
This Class is a must for anyone who has an Overlocker Machine or is thinking about buying one. We will introduce you to the basics of the Overlocker, threading, cleaning and the basic stitches and adjustments that can be made. Then explore a variety of different techniques using the machine.
