Six Penny Memories
Hello,
I hope your all having a lovely Saturday morning. We currently have the Trio Of Triangles class on at the moment and the girls are learning how to make the cushion from the SixPenny Memories 'Trio Of Triangles' book.
SixPenny Memories are on Hochanda tomorrow at 8am and 11am. Don't forget to record their shows if your going to be out or you can always catch up on the Hochanda website.

Block of the Month- 10:15am-12:45. £7.
A great opportunity to work on a Block of the Month project with some good company. Choose from a variety of BOM programmes in store. Cost £7.
Friday 2nd
Free Machine embroidery & Quilting 10:15am-2:30pm £17.
Learn how to do free machine embroidery & quilting. Includes pre-cut appliqué shapes.
Saturday 3rd
Selfish sewing class
So often life takes over and we are so busy doing other things that we forget to have time to sew. The Selfish Sewing Session is a great opportunity to catch up with or finish off old projects or just start something you have wanted to do.
Everyone is invited for coffee, cake a catch up and a little sewing. FREE CLASS.
To book your place please ring the shop on 01207 565728 Tuesday to Saturday between 10am to 4pm.

Machine Embroidery Zip in the Hoop 10:15am-12:45pm. £17.
A great class to get the most out of your Embroidery Sewing Machine.
This is an unusual 'in the hoop' design. Many of you sew as well as embroider and would like to use your hoops to insert zippers in your sewing projects. Using one of the Sweet Pea designs from Australia this zipper design will let you do just that for zips up to 16 inches in length.
Included in the class is your copy of the Sweet Pea Design which is available in multi formats, and sizes.
During the class we will load the designs onto the machine, hoop interfacings and fabrics and lots more. Ideal for beginners.

Get to know your sewing machine
In this session we are looking at more feet included in your sewing machine , what they can do, and how they can make your sewing easier.
Cost £10.
Friday 16th
Overlocker class £10 1:15pm-3:15pm.
The class is ideal if you are a beginner or if you have some experience. We will look at threading and maintaining as well as a number of useful and decorative functions of the overlocker.

Get to Know your Sewing Machine beginners 10:15am-12:45
Explore all of the feet that are included in your sewing machine. £10.

It's the weekend again!
Hello everyone!
So here we are in February. This year is going pretty fast already! How are all your new year projects going? If you need some inspiration we have lots of patterns, kits and fabrics to help. We have some beautiful spring fabrics from Moda including the Ambleside collection. We also have some brights from Moda such as Grunge Hits the Spot, Batiks and Canyon. These fabrics will cheer up this very dull February afternoon.
Of your New Years resolution was to come to some classes we have plenty coming up. Next week we have 'Get to Know Your Sewing Machine' on Tuesday morning & Friday morning. We also have the 'Trio Of Triangles' class next Saturday morning. Visit out website to find more information or to book. We also have some workshops this week where you can come along and work on your own project, get a bit of help and have a chat with others. These are on Tuesday morning or all day, Wednesday morning, Friday morning or all day and Saturday morning. Workshops are £6.50 for half a day and £9.50 for a full day. These can be booked over the phone on 01207 565728 or on our website.
