Product Of The Week

This weeks Product of the week is our Hand Quilting Kit. Perfect for a gift/stocking filler or to make whilst travelling or on holiday.
Kit includes a piece of wadding, calico, calico with a Celtic knot printed on, and a needle.

Friday Hawaiian Appliqué
Hawaiian Appliqué & Quilting using the Sewing Machine. Whilst this form of appliqué is traditionally done by hand we will tackle it using the sewing machine. The first part of the session we will look at the appliqué design and its traditions and then we will quilt the block. Ideal for beginners.
Cost £17.

Sew Saturday 

Come and join us on Saturday 21st October to celebrate Sew Saturday. This is a celebration of bricks and mortar shops that are here for people to come and browse fabric and get advice on their projects. 
This year's mascot is Daisy the Daschund. There are kits available to make, cushions, pin-cushions, felt toys and fabric toys. We are holding a 'dog show' as well. There will be 3 categories under 10s, 10-16 and 16+. Kim & Debbie from Six Penny Memories will be here to judge the entry's. If you would like to enter pop in store to see the kits. There will be demonstrations on throughout the day as well. We will be open 10am-4pm so pop in and say hello and celebrate sewing shops! 

Macmillan Coffee Morning

We are holding another Macmillan Coffee morning on Friday 29th September. Come along and joint us for a cuppa and a cake to raise money for Macmillan and celebrate the excellent work they do! There will be a raffle and games and a prize for star baker! We will be open 10am-4pm.
