We are a patchwork and quilting supplies shop based in Blackhall Mill (about 8 miles outside Newcastle Upon Tyne). Originally established in August 2005 we provide a wide range of quilting and patchwork related goods and services.

Sale, fabric packs & what's on this week

Hello!

We seem to be flying through February heading straight towards spring! If you fancy brightening up your homes ready for spring we have some beautiful fabrics in pinks, yellows, greens and creams that are perfect for spring.

Our Award

Kim went down to Brimingham last weekend to collect our certificate for our award for the Btitish Sewing Awards. Thank you to everyone who voted for us and we where very excited to be 2nd place in the North of  England!

I've just been putting some new Thimbleberries packs together. Keep an eye out for them on our website soon. We also have some beautiful Rosalie Quinlan fabric packs and Art Gallery packs that will be available on our website soon.

Classes this week

We have some spaces available for our classes this week.

Friday- Patchwork and Quilting Techniques Blazing Star- 10:15am-2pm
Learn how to make a Blazing Star Block.
The class includes All fabrics which will be pre-cut to make a 12 inch finished block.
This could then be made into a cushion, bag or the centre of a quilt. £17. 

Saturday- Dressmaking- 10:15am-12:45pm £10.
This class is perfect for beginners and those with dressmaking experience. Our teacher Wendy will help you to make a garment of your choice. During the session you will learn a dressmaking tip or skill such as how to insert a zip, Interfacings or how to add a pocket. All of this for only £10 per session!
