Did you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend? Did you all get some projects finished or new ones started? We had some beautiful weather over the weekend which was perfect for sitting outside doing some hand sewing.

Summer

Are you all feeling like summer is here? We have some beautiful fabrics that are perfect for freshening up your house, you could also make some cushions or quilts for your outside space to make them comfortable for summer nights. We have bright fabrics such as Moda Canyon, Moda Batik, Moda LOL and we have some nautical theme fabrics such as Lakeside Gatherings by Moda. If you are a cocktail fan we have some fabric 'Its A Chick Thing' with martini glasses and cocktails printed on in beatiful bright pink and green.

Dressmaking

Have you ever fancied making your own clothes? We run dressmkaking classes on the last Saturday of the month with our teacher Wendy. She will help you to choose a pattern that will be suitable for you to make. She will also make the pattern fit you best. The girls have made coats, dresses, trousers, skirts and various tops and they all love the results. Wendy will give you different dressmaking tips along the way that will help you to make more and more garments. For more information you can call us on 01207 565728. The class is only £10! The next class is Saturday 26th May, 10:15am-12:45pm.
